Danao City is great! They have a very clean atmosphere. They have an actual sidewalks. The people were nice and friendly.  We stayed at Elsalvador. It is a very nice resort located before the main city. It is right directly in front of Sabang Elementary School. They have different functions or events catered. We stayed there from Wednesday until Friday. It was so funny because at first we were lost. We took a taxi to get there. Usually taxis are metered but it depends on your destination. In our case we paid PHP1100.00 from Happy Valley to Danao. What was humorous about our trip is that our taxi driver was really nice and accommodating but he doesn't know how GPS works. He turned on the GPS but I guess he wasn't paying attention or maybe is not yet familiar in it. (Maybe as a driver it is a MUST to know how to take the passengers to where they want to go).
