Our Journey
One of my favorite photo. I took most of the road side photos while riding on the motorbike. |
Drying the newly harvested rice under the sun. |
Chris legs were very tired. Stretching while driving. |
Capturing the moment |
I see a baby elephant cloud. What do you see? |
Firewoods for sale |
Don't break my heart |
Peace and harmony |
Copras. Dried coconuts. (For oil making) |
On the road again |
One of the touching scenarios I have seen in the joy ride. |
Are they having a love quarrel? |
Superman's cape was left hanging in the sky. |
The tree of life. |
Rain or shine for the survival |
Sending love and kisses. Love is in the air. |
I dreamed....a house! |
A fan plant |
Need a break leg stretching again. |
A shading flower hut |
Finally almost there. We stayed at 1 Peace resort. |
But let me highlight some of the cool things to do especially when you are in a road trip.
THE MILK STATION IN UBAY BOHOL
Ubay Stock farm (near the Ubay Dam)
You should try their chocolate flavored milk. It's awesome and their white cheese too.
Ohmmmmh yumm...my son loved it! Delicious!!! |
Felt fresh. 3 bottles down and counting. The yogurt was awesome! |
The source of milk |
And finally on the place we stayed,
One Peace Resort located in Virgen, Anda, Bohol Philippines
They do have dive lessons here. |
My son loves the goat! |
Near to where we stayed there was a pool cave, it's called Cabagnow Cave pool. It is worth for a bucket list. It is located in Bacong, Anda, Bohol.
To park your motorcycle : PHP 5
For Cars/Vans: PHP 25
Person Per head: PHP 5 to get in to the cave and another
Per Person: PHP 50 if you want to swim or jump
Anda's Public Market/Food court. |
Our tour guide. My brother-in-law. |
A steep staircase to go down and up the pool cave |
Be careful the stair is scarier than jumping right away into the pool. It was an amazing experienced. It felt like your falling for a long time. I had 3 or 4 attempts before finally jumping. I did try going down first using the ladder. I go one step or more then practice jumping until I have the courage to jump from the top of the cave. If you want to jump.....jump...the more you think about it...the more you will become hesitant. My son cried because he wanted me to jump like his dad. My langga said if I will not do it we will leave the place. So jump or go home. Plus I already paid PHp50. Another tourist said, do you want me to push you if it helps. I am glad I have done it!!! Now I can label myself as an Adrenaline junky! Hooray! |
And the main reason of our trip, was my sister's wedding.
My parents and siblings live in Trinidad, Bohol.
In Trinidad, there is a program that encourages couples to be married without too much expenses.
The Government and the Church collaborated to complete the mission.
They conducted a MASS WEDDING from time to time.
I am not sure how many times in a year, but maybe once a year.
My three siblings were benefactors.
Thanks to all.
