PRACTICE TEACHING ORIENTATION WITH DR. ELPIDIO MELGO
During the orientation, Dr. Melgo was really direct to the point. He seemed to be naggy but in a sense of challenging us, the student-teachers. He told us the things we need to do when we are in our chosen area or school. One of the major thing I remembered was to be good, to do your best and do your responsibility as a student-teacher accordingly. For me his style of approach was reverse psychology. Like for example, in complying all our requirements after we finished our practicum, we should not submit only one or two evidences, especially if your grade is 1+.
He taught us how to be respectful to our mentor/s, to the school staffs and administrators, to the students and to the principal. Aside from it, showing of gratitude is a great way of thanking them.
Thank you so much Dr. Melgo for all the teachings I've learned from you! Thank you for believing in us, in our potentials! Thank you for giving your blessing, By saying, "One day one of you might be principals, superintendents in the future! Hooray!
To all my DPE teachers in CTU-Main Campus: Sir Ybanez, Dr. Cebe, Sir Lasala, Ms. Gengen Padillo, Ms. Case, and Mam Sitoy, thank you very much for all your patience, knowledge, kindness and teachings!
I am so grateful!
